INTRODUCING OUR NEWEST ASHI CERTIFIED INSPECTOR (ACI): BOB MATTHEWS!
The American Society of Home Inspectors, founded in 1976, is the oldest, largest and most respected international organization of home inspectors in North America. Its Standards of Practice and strict Code of Ethics are benchmarks of professional performance in the field.To become an ASHI Certified Inspector, an inspector must meet rigorous professional and technical requirements, including the successful completion of two comprehensive exams. In addition, he or she must perform at least 250 fee-paid home inspections that meet or exceed the ASHI Standards of Practice. Bob was recently presented the designation of an ASHI Certified Inspector, ACI.
Bob comes to us with over 20 years of experience in the field of new construction that span all areas. In his position as a partner and construction superintendent at William A. Matthews and Associates, he was directly responsible for scheduling, ordering and purchasing materials, supervising crews and sites as well as obtaining permits and being extremely knowledgable about licensing specifications.
Bob was also the president of Precision Construction and Design Company, Inc. He was responsible for all aspects of the company from managing all projects and operations, managing all work site activities, ensuring all licensing, permits and insurance was up to date, cost estimation and compliance and developing plans and specs. Jobs were handled from start to finish.
In his most recent work as a site superintendent for a builder, Bob was a site superintendent for new construction homes. He supervised all aspects of from beginning to end, coordinating and supervising the construction progress, being intimately familiar with project plans and specs, as well as working with clients throughout the process.
